After watching the nasheed above. Explain in your own words
1) Why Belief in the qualities of Allah is important
2) Why believing especially in the mercy of Allah is important
3) Which quality of Allah you think is most important
In addition can you see any problems for a Muslim if they did not believe that Allah was merciful?

ReplyDeleteIslam is based on 5 important pillars which must be followed.
1st is shahadah
shahadah is to only believe in one god and to believe in Muhammed s.a.w as the messenger of Allah. It is also called the 1st kalma.
2nd is salah
salah is a form of prayer which involves a verity of position and reciting verses from the holy Qu'ran. when praying you face a certain direction which is directed to the ka'bah in Saudi Arbia. When praying you can either read in a mosque or anywhere on earth. The Friday prayer aka Juma is a very important prayer and men should read in the mosque.
3rd is zakaat.
zakaat is about giving to the poor not just money but other riches e.g gold. you can not give zakkat to the mosque but can give it to some charities. if you work you have to give 2.5 percent of your earnings to the poor. if not this is called cheating and not just cheating the poor but cheating Allah. Allah says 'when giving zakaat i will give you double what you got left.
4th is Sawm
Sawm is another word for fasting and in Urdu it means to stop.Like you stop eating. Muslim fast in a time period of 30 days these days are in a moth called Ramadan.it is the 9th month of the Islamic calender. when fasting not only do you stop eating but you don't swear or listen to songs and you go to mosque more to read thrawe. Muslims also fast to improve the relationship with the Qu'ran as for you read it nearly everyday in the period.the fast starts just before dawn and opens when the suns setting. You don't have to keep a fast if you are pregnant or you are under the age of 12 or if you have some illness which really affects your health.
5th is Hajj
Hajj is a very inportant pilgrim and unlike any other pilgrims you have to do this one. A pilgrim is when you go somewhere and you do certain actions at certain times and it should fit in with your religion. Hajj is taken place every year in Saudi Arabia. If you are wealthy and have no illness then you must go however if an illness of any kind you shouldn't go.
1.Believing in the qualities of Allah is important because it gives muslims hope and reassurance that he is there and he knows all. Some names of Allah such as Ar Rahim which means The Mercifull are really useful for Muslims to find out about their creator , and if Allah would punish us for every single sin that we commit we are really unlikely to enter paradise however knowing that Allah is full of mercy and compassion for his people hepls Muslims to get motivated and commit more good deeds in their life and repent for all their bad deeds which Allah will be really pleased of, and he shall eneter paradise by Allah's will.

Beleiving in the mercy of Allah is really important because it provides muslims with hope and that no matter what sin they have comitted (except for shirk) Allah will always forgive them. A Muslims creates love for his Creator in this way knowing that Allah is forgiving and merciful, the Muslim then repents and is comitted to doing good. If Allah was not kind and Ar Rahim people would be put off more quickly, and they would give up, but knowing that Allah welcomes everyone with opens arms makes that person feel kindness to Allah and the urge to obey his lord to please him in return.
3.I think that every quality of Allah is special and great in its own way and nothing in the world could be equal to it, as a result i cannot decide between the 99 names of Allah all i can say is that they are all really good qualities and qualities we should believe in.
4. If a muslim did not believe that Allah is merciful then:
1. He does not believe fully in th Qur'an because in the Qur'an Allah says: "Tell my servants that I am the Forgiving One and the most Merciful" Qur'an 15:49
2.He is disagreeing with the Prophet because the Prophet once said :" Allah has ninety-nine names..."
And if that Mu'min does not believe in the qualities of Allah then Allah will be angry with him and that persons Iman will not be good. And i believe that if a person believes that Allah is not the Forgiver then he shall not be forgiven on the day of judgement.

1.Belief in the qualities of Allah is important because if you are a muslim and you have accepted islam you have to beleive in Allah because it says it in the quran which is the holy book of islam and muslims have to believe what it says in the quran.

ReplyDelete1) The belief in qualities of Allah is important because it shows that no-one except Allah can have these qualities and attributs. They are very special.
2) Believing in the mercy of Allah is important because it has unlimited blessings and mercies related to it as it is mentioned the Tasmiyah. The Prophet (PBUH) had also said that whoever recites Tasmiyah will be benefited from it
3) I believe that Almighty Allah's attributes are important, but personally i think All-Forgiving because He is the One who is going to forgive my sins and allow me to go to paradise.

2.Believing in the mercy of Allah is important because if you make a mistake in life you can turn to Allah for forgiveness.
3.I think that all of Allahs qualities are important because Allah is all konowing,most forgiving and all seeing.
If muslims did not believe that Allah is merciful it would be a problem because when they commited a sin they would not know how to repent for it and and they would not know who to turn to for forgiveness.

ReplyDelete2) Believing in the mercy of Allah is important because then we understand that if we do sin, then we can repent, however, this doesn't mean that we can sin as we feel like it and we will be forgiven, on the contrary, it gives us a sense of comfort, knowing that our Lord is very kind and merciful. Also, only 1% of Allah's mercy is put on this Earth today; 99% is reserved for the day of judgment.
3) I believe that Allah being one is the most important quality of Allah, as this enforces the Shadah's meaning and the belief of Tawhid and the gargantuan sin of Shirk.

ReplyDelete2.Believing in the mercy of AAllah is believing that Allah is meriful and will forgive any sin no matter how big as long as you ask for repentance.However there is one sin that Allah will not forgive and that is Shirk.
3.I think the most important is that Allah has control over everything and everyone and that no good or bad sin can pass by without Allah knowing.

1)Belief in the quality of Allah is important because it makes us realise and remember that there is a Higher Being that has created us and to Whom we shall answer to on the day of Judgement. Furthermore, this prevents us from doing wrong deeds (for example, the biggest sin in Islam which is Shirk).
ReplyDelete2)It is important to belive in the mercy of Allah because as humans we are not perfect so therefore sometimes we tend to make mistakes and commit sins and if Allah did not have this special quality, we shall not only burn in the hell fire on the day of judgemenmt but we would continue to do these sins whilst we live.
3)Allah Subhanatalah has 99 beutiful names and all these names define his qualities and personnally i cannot chose because Allah is perfect in every way.

1) It is important to believe in qualities of Allah because yu then know what Allah is capable of. You can understand that Allah has all the powers and we haven't moreover, making Allah the focal point.
