Some muslims might disagree because they came from a different culture than other people so some things are going to be different.

Some people would agree to this statement because they wouldn't want to look outdated and they would want to be more modern however some people would disagree with this statement because they would think that it doesn't matter if people think its outdated if it's a good thing to do and if it's a sunnah they would disagree. I disagree to the statement because these rituals are sunnah they were done by the prophet so it should be done. Finally people who agree to the statement would want to not look outdated and they would want to be more modern and people who disagree would do that because they think that since it is a sunnah and the prophet did these rituals with his own kids it is good.

i disagree although some might agree because they may believe that it would be better not to perform the whole aqiqa due to some reason. also they may not be a thorough muslim. western muslims may be brought up in a differnt manner and be taught to perform the rituals in a different way.another reason is that some muslim countries respond to the different islamic laws differently.
ReplyDeleteThe majority of muslims would disagree because a baby who is born in a muslim family must have the aqiqa ritual to be taken place in order for that baby to be muslim. also it is one of the prophets sunnah and most muslims copy the sunnahs of the prophet because of the reward.
